Purpose of the Conference

- To encourage constructive dialogue between the corporate tax community and tax administrators and to improve a mutual understanding and more effective compliance with the participating countries' tax rules.
- To enhance the relationships between tax professionals and country tax administrators.
Keynote Speakers
- Douglas W. O’Donnell; Deputy Commissioner; Internal Revenue Service
- John Peterson; Acting Head of Division International Cooperation & Tax Administration; OECD
In our brief discussions with practitioners and company representatives in California, we have found a great deal of enthusiasm and interest in this type of Asia-Pacific government conference. This is obviously due to the focus of business and tax interest in the Pacific Rim countries. We expect this meeting to be quickly subscribed, and the participants will be fully engaged in the sessions. We expect full coverage of the sessions by the US and international tax press.
