The Twelfth Annual Pacific Rim Tax Conference is a two-day conference bringing international tax policy and management issues to the forefront of corporate tax leaders and tax professionals, focusing on the Pacific Rim arena.

The audience comprises high level corporate tax directors, tax counsels and tax managers as well as international and U.S. government personnel.

The event will be held Thursday, May 18, 2023, 8:30 AM through Friday, May 19, 2023, 4:00 PM PST at the Grand Bay San Francisco Hotel, Redwood City, California, USA. Visit our Registration page for more information about the cost of this event and how to register.

Purpose of the Conference

  • To provide a venue for Pacific Rim countries to share their current important tax issues and developments with OECD tax officials, multinational tax officers and practitioners interested in these important issues.
  • To encourage constructive dialogue between the corporate tax community and tax administrators and to improve a mutual understanding and more effective compliance with the participating countries' tax rules.
  • To enhance the relationships between tax professionals and country tax administrators.

Keynote Speakers

  • To be determined

In our brief discussions with practitioners and company representatives in California, we have found a great deal of enthusiasm and interest in this type of Asia-Pacific government conference. This is obviously due to the focus of business and tax interest in the Pacific Rim countries. We expect this meeting to be quickly subscribed, and the participants will be fully engaged in the sessions. We expect full coverage of the sessions by the US and international tax press.
